ABOUT US

LOKO Meats is the only meat shop in north-western Saskatchewan with a Red Seal Chef, as the butcher and a holistic nutrition coach as his partner. The meat shop has been in business for over 40 years and is located west of Paradise Hill on highway 3. It is the home of dill pickle pork jerky, pork chops with Loko Meats special marinate, mouthwatering steaks and so much more.

Our Story

Kaitlyn was born in Paradise Hill and raised there. She lived in Medicine Hat for ten years, where she met Logan and began their family. Logan is a Red Seal Chef with over ten years of experience working as a meat cutter at a cutting-edge facility.

After their daughter was born in 2013, they returned “home” to Paradise Hill. They now have two more children, completing their family.

Logan worked as the butcher at the local grocery shop in St. Walburg, where he established a solid reputation. When the couple learned that their neighbourhood meat business was going up for sale, they decided to try their hand at entrepreneurship. In June 2021, they purchased the company and named it LOKO Meats, a combination of their initials. They wanted to do something unique and give the meat shop a new look.

Logan handles all of the cutting; he is extremely detailed and takes great delight in his work. As a Red Seal Chef, he enjoys experimenting and creating new items. Kaitlyn chose to leave her job in September 2021 to work full-time at the butcher business with Logan.
Kaitlyn and Logan are delighted to expand their business and bring wonderful meat options to Paradise Hill and the surrounding area!
